Our Current Board Members

 

Presidents - Laura Buckingham & Carolyn Perera

Chairs monthly Board meetings, oversees all Club activities and events.

 

Vice President - Esther Stehmann

Supports the President, Manages Interest Groups and replaces the President when they are unavailable.

 

Treasurer - Kathy Walker

Collects membership dues, has charge of Club funds and keeps records of all revenues, including advertising, membership and special events.

 

Club Secretary - Alison Sentance

To keep full and accurate records of main Club meetings, and custodian of all records for this Club. Also, to collect photos and make/keep scrapbook of Club events. Prepares publicity items to increase awareness of Club within community.

 

Events Chair- Diana Crai Taro

Responsible for recommending activities or events and organizing committees to plan and run these functions.

 

Sponsorship Chair - Emma Smith

Responsible for co-ordinating our sponsorship activity.  Shall compile sponsorship opportunities each year, engage local and relevant organizations in the Club, arrnage communication materials, receive payment, submit to Treasurer and keep sponsorship records. Works closely each month with Communications Chair and Webmaster.

 

Children's Event Chair - Laura Daniel & Grace Djuranovic

Responsible for organizing and managing children's events and running the regular playgroup 

 

PR Chair - Julie Bensley

Responsible for raising the profile of the group through PR and promoting our club and events through local media

 

Communications Chair - 

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of regular monthly communications to membership via website. This includes monthly A-Z listing of club activities, all special events, adverts, and other Interesting local information for newcomers. Also responsible for looking after and maintaining our presence on social media sites

 

Membership Chair - Esther Stehmann

Manage membership database and compile annual directory of members to distribute within Club.

Organize activities and events to support charity.

 

Welcome Coffee Chair - Carol Schnaer

Responsible for finding a venue and date for each monthly coffee morning, arranging all refreshments, keeping list of attendees and liasing with local realtors, schools and other sources of newcomers to invite them to the event.
